A Sunny Day Adventure｜晴れの日の冒険

先週の日曜日、私は友だちと一緒に葛西臨海公園（Kasai Rinkai Park）へ行きました。

Last Sunday, I went to Kasai Rinkai Park with my friend.

It was my first time visiting this famous park in Tokyo. I was so excited because I heard it’s a perfect place for relaxing, enjoying nature, and seeing the ocean—all in one spot!

Getting There｜アクセス

JR京葉線で東京駅から電車に乗りました。電車は約15分で、とても便利です！

We took the JR Keiyo Line from Tokyo Station. The ride was just 15 minutes and very convenient!

葛西臨海公園駅を出ると、すぐに大きな観覧車（ferris wheel）が見えました。

Right after exiting the station, we saw a huge Ferris wheel!

「すごい！あれが有名な観覧車だね！」

“Wow! That’s the famous Ferris wheel!”

First Impressions｜最初の印象

公園はとても広いです！木や芝生がいっぱいで、空がとても広く感じました。

The park is really big! There were lots of trees and grass, and the sky felt so wide.

海の風のにおいがして、鳥の声も聞こえました。

I could smell the sea breeze and hear the birds singing.

子どもたちは走り回っていて、カップルはピクニックをしていました。

Children were running around, and couples were enjoying a picnic.

Highlights of the Day｜楽しかったポイント

• 観覧車 (Giant Ferris Wheel)
  直径117mもある日本最大級の観覧車に乗りました！
• We rode one of Japan’s largest Ferris wheels, which is 117 meters in diameter!
• てっぺんからは東京の街、東京湾、そして富士山まで見えました。
• From the top, we saw Tokyo, Tokyo Bay, and even Mt. Fuji.


• 水族園 (Aquarium)
  巨大なマグロやかわいいペンギンがいました。
• There were giant tuna and cute penguins at the aquarium.
• 英語の説明もあって、とても勉強になりました。
• There were also English explanations, which were very educational.


• 海辺の散歩 (Seaside Walk)
  砂浜に座って、波の音を聞きました。
• We sat on the beach and listened to the sound of the waves.
• 「今日は釣れますか？」とおじさんに聞いたら、やさしく教えてくれました。
• When I asked a man, “Did you catch anything today?” he kindly responded.


• ピクニックランチ (Picnic Lunch)
  おにぎりと飲み物を芝生の上で食べました。
• We ate rice balls and drinks on the grass. It was relaxing!

A Small Trouble… But Good Practice!｜ちょっとしたトラブル…でも良い練習！

実は、水族園の入り口が分からなくて迷ってしまいました。

Actually, I got lost trying to find the entrance to the aquarium.

「すみません、水族園はどこですか？」と聞いたら、スタッフがやさしく教えてくれました。

When I asked, “Excuse me, where is the aquarium?” the staff kindly explained it to me.

Final Thoughts｜感想

葛西臨海公園は自然と都会を同時に楽しめる素晴らしい場所です。

Kasai Rinkai Park is a wonderful place where you can enjoy both nature and the city.

家族でもカップルでも、一人旅でも楽しめます。

It’s enjoyable whether you go with family, a partner, or alone.

次は桜や花火の時期にまた来たいです。

Next time, I want to visit during cherry blossom or fireworks season.

Tips for Your Visit!

• Bring a picnic blanket for the lawn.
• Wear comfy shoes (you’ll walk a lot!)
• Sunny days are best for the view.
• The aquarium gets crowded, go early.
• Try using Japanese with locals!
